We headed to Costa locally whilst Stewart and Noah were getting ready, and of then to a park. Stewart pointed out the fit young guy there with his wife son was in fact the World Champion boxer, Carl Froch, who announced his retirement only this week. Another local with a tram named after him!
Noah enjoyed the various items of playground equipment, especially the swings. Takes after his dad and grandad there. And again, a typical Green, he claimed he was hungry so as we were already going to Morrison’s supermarket for a supply of pork pies, we had a bite there. Well, Paula and I had a small bite, whilst Noah tucked into sausage, beans, Yorkshire pud and mashed potatoes!
Shopping completed we dropped them back at home and we relaxed before yet another of Sue excellent meals, finishing off with scones, Cornish clotted cream and jam.
